Serra parking lots [L-90], [L-91], & [L-92] – August 15, 2008

• Effective August 15, sections [L-91] and [L-92] of the Serra lot (north and east of the Serra complex) will be closed for construction of the Knight Management Center (the new Graduate School of Business).
• Section [L-90] of the Serra lot (west of the Serra complex) and the adjacent Arguello Lot [L-89] will remain open until January 5, 2009.

Recommended parking option:

• PS-6 (Parking Structure 6 with Marguerite Shuttle Line B service) ('EA', 'A', 'C', and Visitor parking)

Additional parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• Wilbur lots [L-62] and [L-63] ('EA' and 'C')
• [L-89] and [L-90] (until 1/5/09) ('A' and Visitor parking)
• Maples lot [L-93] ('A', 'C', and Visitor parking)
• Track House lot [L-95] ('C' and Visitor parking)
• Varsity lot [L-97] ('C' and Visitor parking)

Track House parking lot [L- 95] – August 2008

Effective August 2008, a bleacher expansion project will permanently displace approximately 100 parking spaces in the Track House lot [L-95].

Visitor and carpool parking will be relocated within the Track House lot.

On August 15, 651 Serra north and 655 Serra east lots (L-91 & L-92) will be closed for construction of the Knight Management Center (the new GSB).

'C' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Parking Structure 6 [PS-6]
• (2) Varsity lot [L-97]
• (3) Wilbur lots [L-62] and [L-63]
• (4) Maples lot [L-93]
  Note: effective 7/18/08, Maples lot also underwent a major parking displacement (approx. 100 spaces).

Olmsted Road parking & traffic

Effective August 4 - September 15, 2008, a utilies project taking place along Olmsted Road (between Abrams Court and Escondido Road) will intermittently impact parking and traffic.

Parking will be blocked off in phases. Please be careful to observe all posted signs to avoid being cited and/or towed.

Maples parking lot [L-93]

Effective Friday, July 18, 2008:

• Approximately 100 parking spaces will be permanently displaced from the Maples lot [L-93]) due to construction.
• Disabled parking will be relocated within the Maples lot.

'C' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Parking Structure 6 [PS-6]
• (2) Varsity lot [L-97]
• (3) Wilbur lots [L-62] and [L-63]
• (4) Track House lot [L-95]

Note: Track House lot will also undergo parking displacement (approx. 100 spaces) by August 2008

Museum Way parking

Effective Monday, May 12, 2008:

• Due to local construction-related 'A' parking displacements, the southeast section of Museum Way 'C' parking (indicated by blue asterisk on map below) became 'A' parking. 'C-Carpool' parking has been relocated to the northeast section.

'C' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Lasuen @ Arboretum
• (2) Track House lot [L-95]
• (3) Varsity lot [L-97]
• (4) Maples lot [L-93]
• (5) 655 Serra east lot [L-92]
• (6) PS-6 (expected to open in June 2008)

Wilbur south parking lot [L-62]

Effective June 2008:

• Wilbur south parking lot [L-62] is closed for construction, and Wilbur-Stern temp lot is closed permanently
• Parking structure 6 [PS-6] is open and provides alternative 'A', 'C', and 'EA' parking

• Service Vehicle parking ( SV ) alternatives include Memorial Way and all Visitor and 'A' permit parking areas (  A  )
• Disabled parking (  DP  ) alternatives also include Memorial Way and all Visitor and 'A' parking areas

Beckman/Clark parking lot [L-15]

Munger Graduate Residences construction project

The Munger Graduate Residences project is underway, which will, when completed, provide housing for 600 graduate students near the center of the Stanford campus. While every effort is being made to alleviate potential parking shortages during the project, campus parking as well as transportation will be heavily affected in the surrounding areas.

Parking Structure 6 [PS-6], off Campus Drive East near the Munger housing project and the Law School, opened on July 3rd. The new structure offers 1,180 new parking spaces for commuter, resident ("EA" and "SO" permits) and visitor parking.

Law School [L-55] and Stern [L-57] parking lots

Effective May 7, 2007 construction permanently displaced both parking lots. Please be careful to observe all posted signs.

'A' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (2) Gould lot [L-59]
• (3) Mayfield Ave. ('SO/A')

• Effective July, 11, 2008, the temporary lot between Stern and Wilbur Halls was turned over to the Munger project for contractor parking only. It is permanently closed to campus parking.
   
• The Marguerite stop on the north side of Campus Drive at Alvarado Row remains closed. Alternative westbound stops on Campus Drive are at Bowdoin Street, Arguello Mall, and Mayfield Avenue.
